Pets "wanted" mug shots appearing on New York city kiosks and buses
Household pets were “booked” in New York City on August 6, all in the name of a new advertising and awareness campaign to benefit Animal Care & Control of New York City. The campaign was created pro bono by Omnicom Group’s Unit 7, a leading relationship marketing communications company. Each of the six mug shot style ads depict a shelter pet that has been rescued and is in need of a good home. The ads stress that these animals are victims of circumstance and not abuse. Their only crime is wanting a place to call home.
